Lavergne Tennessee Things To Do
LaVergne High School is a public high school in La Vergne, Tennessee, and is home to Tri-M, one of the most prestigious high schools in Tennessee, which also includes the prestigious Tennessee State University Athletic Association (TSUAA) and the Tennessee Department of Education (DTE) Honors Program. LaVerkne High School's drum program is respected for its ability to provide a high level of musical performance for students, faculty, staff and students.
The 2010-2011 school year received a high grade from the Tennessee Department of Education's (DTE) Honor Program, which invited the choristers of LaVergne High School, a public high school choir. The choreographers are members of the Tri-M Music Festival, the largest music festival in Tennessee, and are also the first school outside Knoxville, Tennessee to be a state festival (as the school is located in Middle Tennessee).
The Colour Guard reached the 12th place out of 100 bands that performed that night at Marine Memorial Stadium, percussion reached an excellent 2nd place, music and visuals reached the 8th place and music / visuals reached the 8th place. Lavergne has been represented at every meeting of the State Railways since 1994 and is also a member of the county railway meetings, county landscape meetings and county golf meetings.
