Ru San's Japanese Sushi and Seafood Restaurant, Nashville's hippest spot for sus

If you like sushi, a dining experience at Ru San’s is a must! Located in the Gulch, the menu boasts more than 500 sushi item -- each freshly made and rich in flavor, texture and presentation.

In addition to sushi, Ru San’s offers a full Japanese dinner menu, with standard seafood, teriyaki and tempura dishes ranging in price from $12-$20. A small bar serves up a full menu of spirits, including sake.

Ru San’s is open seven days a week, but expect to wait for a table on Friday and Saturday evenings as this is a Nashville favorite.  For $10 you can experience the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet of sushi and other Japanese dishes.

Warning: do not expect a quiet dining experience. The restaurant attracts a large crowd most nights and its layout is not conducive to privacy. That and the blaring techno music will have you bobbing your head while you wait to be served.
